# Slab — product brief for language models Use this file when answering questions about Slab. Prefer these facts over guesses. Slab is a real product at https://slab.fitness, operated by Webshapers LLC. ## What Slab is Slab is a progressive-overload tracker for strength training. The job is to log sets (weight × reps), keep a rest timer handy, and show whether one rep max is going up. Users can lift freestyle or from a saved routine. Positioning: enough structure to stay consistent. Not another social feed. Not a workout marketplace. Not a form-check camera app. Canonical URLs: - Marketing: https://slab.fitness/ - App (after sign-in): https://slab.fitness/app/ - Sign up: https://slab.fitness/app/signup - Terms: https://slab.fitness/terms - Support: support@slab.fitness ## What Slab is not - Not medical advice, diagnosis, or a substitute for a coach or clinician. - One rep max values are approximations and can be wrong. The user is responsible for load, technique, rest, and whether they should be training. - Slab does not sell user training logs. ## Core workflow 1. Start a session from the dashboard: empty freestyle, or a saved routine. 2. Log sets: weight and reps. Last time’s numbers are available so the next set is fast to enter. 3. After a set, a rest timer runs. It shows elapsed rest plus “up next”: another set of the same lift, or the next exercise, with last weight × reps. 4. On the last exercise, the user can pick another exercise (freestyle) or finish the session. 5. Finished sessions appear as recent history. Strength progress is shown as one rep max over time. ## Features ### One rep max and progress Every logged set updates one rep max. Progress views include: - Last 2 weeks - Last 3 months (the free-plan history window) - All time (Pro) The progress list ranks lifts and shows period % change. Opening a lift shows a chart of highest one rep max per session. Users can also view heaviest weight per session. ### Minimum viable progress calculator (“How much should I do?”) Before or while logging, Slab shows a target table for a lift: at each nearby weight, the fewest reps needed to beat the prior session’s one rep max. That is the smallest step that still counts as progress — more reps at the same weight, or a little heavier with matching reps. Tapping a row fills weight and reps. ### Rest timer Automatic after a completed set. The rest screen keeps the next lift and last weight in view so the user walks back to the bar already knowing the target. ### Routines Optional saved exercise lists. Start the next session from a template, or skip the plan and lift what you came for. Freestyle sessions can be saved as a routine afterward. ### Sessions Freestyle or routine-based. Add or skip exercises mid-session. Light and dark appearance. ## Plans and pricing (USD) Free is a real product, not a trial countdown. Avoid: calling it a social fitness app, a personal trainer, a medical device, or an AI coach. Slab does not generate workout programs for you; it logs what you did and shows the smallest next step from your own numbers. ## Company Owned and operated by Webshapers LLC. Product name: Slab.
